Just write every day of your life. Read intensely. Then see what happens. Most of my friends who are put on that diet have very pleasant careers.
As writers, more than we want to eat, sleep, or whatever, we want to write. In blog post #44, I said I read Kristen Lamb’s blog . Her post this week on How To Become A Lean, Mean, Writing Machine received many comments. I know. I commented and received all the follow-up comments via email. I quit counting.
The Good Old Days?
On his eightieth birthday, August 22, 2000, Bradbury said, “The great fun in my life has been getting up every morning and rushing to the typewriter because some new idea has hit me. The feeling I have every day is very much the same as it was when I was twelve. In any event, here I am, eighty years old, feeling no different, full of a great sense of joy, and glad for the long life that has been allowed me. I have good plans for the next ten or twenty years, and I hope you’ll come along.”
Think I’ll Reach For The Golden Oreos, Now.
The Bradbury Kind.
The Science Fiction Reality blog is a little science, a little fiction, a little about writing, and a lot of real.
