I don’t mean to seem ate up by the anglerfish, but I’m late on my Monday blog post.
An alien growth on my FACE!
So for a quick post, I’m using a YouTube that Myk Pilgrim—my friend over at Little Plastic Castles (his blog is hysterical)—sent me about an anglerfish. Prepare to giggle.
The blog before this one offers more information on the anglerfish’s weird sex.
Champion of Weird
Other YouTube videos I totally meant to post last Monday—but didn’t because I had to deal with a panicked husband and granddaughter who were antsy to go camping—follow.
Rainbow of Ugly
This is funny, laugh-out-loud funny, even though the title is boring: True Facts About The Angler Fish.
And Lastly For the Sciency-Minded
This video uses illustrations of humans to represent the anglerfish mating ritual and is definitely deserving of a permanent position on the Wall of Weird, kinda freaky.
I hope to get caught up in a couple of days and be back to my regular Monday blog time if the alien now occupying my face surrenders. It feels like all my nerves are on fire and there is this foul oozing of fluid on the left side of my face. Definitely an alien invasion. Watch out.
The Probe Mission Statement
The Probe is a blog devoted to the exploration of the unexplainable, to finding the truth in occurrences that resemble science fiction, and to researching and reporting on topics that could be flung upon the wall of weird. New posts are featured every week.
(Mostly on Mondays, but sometimes I release early, like on Sundays, if I have a writing deadline, or if I’m going camping, or if I have something exciting I just can’t wait to tell you. And sometimes I’m late if I’ve gone camping or have family visiting or an alien has taken up residence on my face—like now.)
