UFO Researcher, Tom Carey, Claims Proof Of Roswell Cover Up

In 2014, Roswell researcher, Tom Carey, announced that he has promising proof of the UFO crash incident. The proof lay in two Kodachrome color slides that Kodak authorities have verified as dating back to 1947—the time of the infamous Roswell incident.

Carey made his announcement to a crowd of honor students during a panel discussion in which he participated along with three other prominent ufologists on November 12, 2014 at the American University in Washington, DC.

Carey began his announcement saying that UFO skeptics were always whining about needing proof and that he had come to possess a couple of slides. (These slides, I inferred, might confirm decades old allegations of an alien cover up at Roswell.) The announcement was made during the last five minutes of the panel discussion titled: UFOs: Encounters by Generals, Pilots, and Government Officials.

According to Carey, owners of the slides were a couple from Texas: Hilda Blair Ray and her husband Bernard. “The woman was a high-powered Midland, Texas lawyer with a pilot’s license. We think she was involved in intelligence during World War II, and her husband was a field geologist for an oil company and president of the West Texas Geological Society for a number of years specializing in the Permian Basin in west Texas and eastern New Mexico,” Carey told students during the forum.

He also disclosed to the students that the slides were found in 1989 and came to him two years ago. Since that time, he says he has been doing due diligence to authenticate the slides and stated he hoped to break the news early next year. “We’re still working the case. But this is big stuff,” he said.

The November 12th panel discussion was the first time Carey was permitted to announce the discovery. Carey has been researching the Roswell incident since 1991 and is co-author with Don Schmidtt of the book: Inside the Real Area 51: The Secret History of Wright Patterson

Description of the book on Amazon reads:

The true nature of what actually crashed in Roswell, New Mexico, in 1947 remains classified. Only a select few have ever had access to the truth about what became known as Area 51.

But what happened to the remnants of that crash is shrouded in even greater mystery. What began in the high desert of New Mexico ended at Wright-Patterson, an ultra top-secret Air Force base in Dayton, Ohio. The physical evidence of extraterrestrial visitation was buried deep within this nuclear stronghold.

How tragic that such seismic news should be kept from the people of the world…pieces of history, now quickly dwindling into oblivion as the last of the secret-keepers passes on.

In spite of its rich and historic military service to our nation, Wright-Patterson also stands as the secret tomb of one of the greatest occurrences in recorded history. But be prepared…the real Area 51—Wright-Patterson’s vault—is about to be opened.

More on the Texas Couple

Area 51
Information suggests that the husband stumbled upon the Roswell cover-up while in New Mexico on a geological oil exploration trip and snapped photos. Reports say he was told not to get involved and not to interfere, and that he may have been threatened.

After his death, in fear, his wife hide the slides along with other slides of their travels which go further to validate the 1947 time period. When she died, an estate dealer found the slides hidden in the lid of an old trunk.

What’s On The Slide

  • A partially dissected three and a half to four-foot humanoid enclosed in a glass case.
  • The head appears to be severed from the body and then replaced.
  • Carey said: “The head looks almost insect like and exactly what I thought the Roswell aliens would look like based on the information that had been given to me over the last twenty-four years. Exactly, what I expected.”
  • The body appears to be embalmed.

(Probe Note: The first videos of the alien autopsy can no longer be found on Youtube. I did, however, run across this updated version, which gives more information on the Texas couple and less information on the alien. It seems — even after all these years, one thing is certain — it remains a mystery. )

Some Facts, A Bit Creepy

Anthony Bragalia, a UFO author, had his computer hacked by an unknown attempting to gain information on the Roswell slides. You can read the story here: http://kevinrandle.blogspot.com/2014/11/anthony-bragalia-roswell-slides-and-ufo.html

QUESTION: Who went to all the trouble to hack someone for UFO information and why? Everyone knows it’s probably just a hoax. Right?

Unless, it’s not.

The video of Carey’s announcement to American University students can not be located on YouTube. But it can be found here: http://www.theufochronicles.com/2014/11/roswell-researcher-tom-carey-announces.html

QUESTION: Why isn’t YouTube crawling with videos on this new UFO announcement?
Unless, videos are being abducted.

The news tip was given to me by my cousin in Australia. (Thank you, Scott.)

QUESTION: We hear about every tiny mishap in America on the news, why not slides that might  confirm the existence of aliens?

Unless, well, those in the know—or the aliens themselves—don’t want the information out in a credible format. They prefer it stays science fiction.

Fun Facts

Main Cast of the 1999 Roswell season 2: Shiri Appleby, Nick Wechsler (Back row, left to right); Katherine Heigl, Colin Hanks, Emilie de Ravin, Majandra Delfino(Middle row); William Sadler, Jason Behr, Brendan Fehr (Front row).

Roswell is an American science fiction television series that debuted in 1999. Actress Katherine Heigl was part of the main cast and played Isabel Evans. The role began her rise to fame.

A more recent Roswell TV series premiered January 15, 2019 and was followed by a second season on March 16, 2020. I have enjoyed this series, but not as much as the 1999 series. The more recent Roswell features a talented cast of young actors, and portrays a very different scenario than the first. (Probe Trivia: Lead actress, Jeanine Mason who portrays Liz Ortecho, won the fifth season of So You Think You Can Dance.)

Cast of the new Roswell series.

What do you think? Is it possible that the slides are the real deal?
I love hearing from you.

The Probe— probing the unknown in science fiction, science, paranormal, fiction, ghosts, monsters, aliens, space, UFOs, the strange, and the weird. And a little on writing.
